Welcome to the School of Information and Communication Technology, we are dedicated to the highest standards of education, research and community outreach in the area of Computer Science and Information Technology. Our School offers courses that are tailored to meet the job market demand and enhance efficiency in ICT process management. Delivery of the programs includes lectures, hands-on labs, educational trips and internships all aimed at producing graduates who are well rounded, highly skilled and exposed to the latest trends in Computer Science.

To meet the educational needs of the community, industry and academia in the areas of computing and information technologies by providing an outstanding environment for learning, research in applications of computing, expanding educational and research programmes in response to the rapid changes in the field of Information Technology to transform lives.

KCSE Mean Grade C+ (Plus) or equivalent with at least C+ (Plus) in Mathematics and Physics/Physical Science or two Principal passes, one of which must be in Mathematics/Physics, and at least a subsidiary pass and a credit pass in Physics at ‘O’ level OR Holders of Ordinary Diploma in Computer Studies/Science or its equivalent with a credit pass from an institution recognized by the University Senate.
Bachelor in Information Technology
KCSE mean grade C+(Plus) with at least C(Plain) in Mathematics, English and Physics /Physical Sciences OR Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science/Studies or any relevant Diploma recognized by the University Senate.
Diploma in Computer Science
KCSE mean grade C (Plain), in addition candidates must have obtained a minimum of C-(Minus) in Mathematics and Physics / Physical Sciences OR a Diploma or its equivalent from an institution recognized by the University Senate.
